Defeating the Wilderness
Remain in the ever-fortress, or remain in the wilderness
Walking and murmuring, not less than forty years;
Experience the unnecessary, suffer from its consequence
If one respects their soul-life, such a one can escape;
One can certainly defeat, its controlling effect
Free will is a little power, yet enough to escape
Make use of it, and you will be found in a quieter place;
Remain in your ever-fortress, for no man can haste
Or remain in the wilderness and make yourself a waste.
